Dmitry Medvedev Proposes Possible Annexation of More Ukrainian Territories
Dmitry Medvedev, former President and Prime Minister of Russia, hinted at the potential annexation of additional Ukrainian territories amidst the ongoing war that began in February 2022. Speaking at a conference for the United Russia party, he emphasized the need for development in the already annexed regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson, which remain only partially controlled by Russian forces. Medvedev, who has shifted towards a hawkish stance in recent years, suggested that new adjacent territories might soon join Russia.
