Do Kwon, the former CEO of Terraform, has been extradited to the United States after being accused of orchestrating a multi-billion dollar cryptocurrency fraud tied to the collapse of TerraUSD and Luna. The crisis led to a $40 billion loss for investors in 2022. Kwon had fled South Korea following a warrant for his arrest and was apprehended in Montenegro. After a protracted legal battle, he has been sent to the U.S. to face criminal charges.
