Dolphin Deaths Rise Due to Oil Spill in the Black Sea

More than 30 dolphins have died following an oil spill in the Black Sea caused by the capsizing of two Russian oil tankers. The Russian environmental organization Delfa reported that the number of dolphin fatalities is unusually high for the season. Despite efforts by volunteers to clean the affected beaches, oil continues to wash ashore, while accusations of mishandling rescue efforts for affected birds have emerged, leading to disagreements with authorities.
