Two external automated external defibrillators (AEDs) have been donated to the General University Hospital of Alexandroupolis as part of the ‘Blue Code’ protocol implementation. The donation, initiated by the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace region in response to requests from the Evros State Hospital Employees Association, aims to improve emergency responses to cardiac arrest incidents. The devices were received by the hospital administrator, Evangelos Roufos, and a festive event marked the occasion, fostering goodwill and collaboration among hospital staff and patients.
