A drone attack in Kyiv during the early hours of the New Year has resulted in two fatalities and six injuries. Several buildings were damaged, according to Kyiv’s Mayor Vitali Klitschko. President Volodymyr Zelensky reported via social media that the air defense system intercepted more than a hundred aerial assaults. He criticized Russia’s continued aggression, stating they focused on inflicting pain on Ukraine even on New Year’s Eve. The attack partly destroyed two floors of a residential building, with emergency services recovering the body of a woman from the rubble.
