Drug Packages Wash Ashore Along German North Sea Coast
Packages containing approximately 150 kilograms of cocaine have washed ashore on the beaches of the German Wadden Islands, including Föhr, Amrum, and Sylt. The origin of the packages remains unknown, with customs officials suggesting they may have been deliberately dumped or accidentally released from a vessel. Authorities are advising beachgoers to steer clear of any suspicious packages and to report any findings. This incident follows a similar occurrence in the Netherlands last month, where drugs were found near Scheveningen beach.
