Dublin’s star midfielder Brian Fenton, 31, has announced his retirement from inter-county football, following the retirement of teammate James McCarthy. Fenton, who enjoyed a successful ten-season career with Dublin, won seven All-Ireland medals, ten Leinster medals, and was awarded two player of the year titles. Known for his exceptional performance, he claimed six All-Star awards and contributed to a record-breaking streak of six consecutive senior football titles.
