Dutch Prosecutors Warn of Fraudulent Temporary Workers in Government Agencies
The Dutch Public Prosecution Service has alerted government institutions about temporary staff working with falsified documents. An investigation revealed that several temporary workers had faked their credentials in recent years. Four suspects appeared in court in Rotterdam, facing charges of fraud and identity theft, with one suspected of involvement in a criminal organization. The case emerged after suspicions regarding an employee hired by the prosecution in 2022, leading to a broader investigation into fraudulent hiring practices within public institutions.
