EasyJet has announced a new flight to Skiathos from Basel, Switzerland, starting in the summer of 2025, expanding its flight program for the popular Greek destination. This decision follows a collaboration between the Municipality of Skiathos and EasyJet, which aims to enhance tourism promotion efforts in Switzerland. The Mayor of Skiathos and Deputy Mayor of Tourism, Alexandros Efstathios, discussed this initiative with EasyJet representatives at the WTM tourism fair in London. This new route aims to attract Swiss visitors who are increasingly interested in traveling to Skiathos.
