A new educational tool, ‘Arbre à défis’, has been introduced in French primary schools to improve children’s understanding of secularism and religions, according to an OECD study. The initiative has led to significant increases in students’ comprehension of religious topics and a decline in intolerance towards different beliefs. The educational approach not only conveys knowledge about secularism but also fosters a positive school climate, supported by parents and educators alike.
