According to George Dimarelos, the city’s deputy mayor for cleanliness, recycling, and climate protection, over 600 tons of garbage were collected by noon the day after the celebrations. He praised the workers for their efforts amid challenging accessibility and commended the city’s pre-event communication with businesses to ensure timely waste disposal.
