In recognition of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Antonis Karaminas, the Deputy Mayor of Social Welfare in Eastern Samos, emphasized the importance of accessibility for individuals with disabilities. He announced the successful repair of an access lift that had been inoperable for nearly a decade, which provides entry to the municipal hall. A demonstration of its use will occur in collaboration with a local association for persons with disabilities. The municipality is also planning further improvements to accessibility.
