The Loon op Zand municipal council has reversed its decision to implement paid parking permits for residents near the Efteling. Following significant opposition from locals, who had been informed of the changes without the opportunity to appeal, the council acknowledged that they underestimated the decision’s impact on the community. This reversal will cost the municipality €68,000, prompting a future review of budget adjustments.
