Eight Countries Compete for Co-Hosting EuroBasket 2029
Greece alongside seven other nations is vying to co-host EuroBasket 2029, with the final decision from FIBA Europe expected in May 2025. The candidates include Germany, Estonia, Spain, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Finland. Only Estonia and the Netherlands have never reached the EuroBasket finals, while Finland hopes to host consecutive tournaments after co-hosting EuroBasket 2025. The tournament will take place from August 27 to September 14, 2025, with the championship being awarded in Riga.
