Emilien Jacquelin Secures First Individual Victory Since 2021 at Kontiolahti Biathlon Sprint

Emilien Jacquelin of France clinched his first individual race victory since 2021 by winning the sprint event in Kontiolahti, Finland. He showcased an error-free shooting performance and finished with a 19-second lead over Sweden’s Sebastian Samuelsson, who made a shooting error. Germany’s Philipp Nawrath claimed third place. Swiss competitor Jeremy Finello ranked 25th, while teammate Sebastian Stalder, despite a flawless shooting performance, fell short in speed, losing over a minute to the winner. The men’s 15 km mass start is next on the schedule.
