The 65th Thessaloniki Film Festival concluded with heartfelt tributes to Yiannis Boutaris, the festival’s former board president, who recently passed away. Artistic Director Orestis Andreadakis delivered a poignant speech, celebrating Boutaris as a transformative figure in contemporary society. The closing ceremony featured a tribute with Boutaris’ image displayed on the big screen, accompanied by Frank Sinatra’s iconic song ‘My Way’, as attendees expressed their admiration with applause.
