The president of the Epirus Department of TEE, Giannis Tsigros, highlighted the growing interest among residents for energy upgrade programs, notably ‘Exoikonomo 2025’ and ‘Change Heating System’. These initiatives aim to improve building energy efficiency, featuring faster execution and effective criteria for distributing €450 million in funding. Additionally, the programs seek to reduce air pollution caused by heating and traffic. The application period for funding heat pumps began yesterday, with submissions open until March 31.
