ESB Networks Faces Long Power Restoration Efforts After Storm Darragh
ESB Networks has announced that it may take several days to restore power to all customers affected by Storm Darragh, which cut electricity to 395,000 homes and businesses. As of this afternoon, about 30,000 customers remain without power. The storm has caused significant damage to the electrical infrastructure, particularly in the north west, midlands, and south east regions. ESB Delivery Manager Cormac Collins reported on the challenging restoration efforts, with a large team working continuously to address the extensive damage.
