Claire Button, a 35-year-old woman from South Ockendon, Essex, has been charged with the murder of her five-year-old son, Lincoln Button. Appearing via video link from HMP Peterborough at Chelmsford Crown Court, she confirmed her name during the hearing. Lincoln was found dead on December 15, and Ms. Button has been remanded in custody until her plea hearing scheduled for January 20 at Basildon Crown Court.
