After receiving an €8,000 fine from Euroleague for causing an unusual interruption in the match against FC Barcelona, Panathinaikos coach Ergün Ataman urged fans to book tickets for Abu Dhabi and prepare for the team’s quest for an eighth star. Euroleague also penalized Kendrick Nunn with a one-game suspension and a €5,000 fine for disrespecting an official during a match against Partizan. Panathinaikos has appealed the decision regarding Nunn, who would miss the upcoming game against Anadolu Efes if the ruling stands.
