The Greek Payments Agency (ΟΠΕΚΕΠΕ) has begun the distribution of €440 million to eligible farmers, covering 30% of the basic income support for 2024, the National Reserve, and additional support for young farmers. A total of 569,332 beneficiaries received €246.68 million, with monitoring processes ensuring proper compliance with the new CAP regulations. The agency processed over 42,000 transfer requests and dealt with issues regarding incomplete applications. Adjustments will be made for those with pending payments in future distributions.
