European People’s Party Discusses Future of Common Agricultural Policy Post-2027

Ministers of Agriculture from the European People’s Party reached a consensus on a shared strategy for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) after 2027. Chaired by Greece’s Costas Chiaras and Finland’s Sari Essayah, the ministers presented proposals to the Commissioner for Agriculture, Christophe Hansen, focusing on fair and effective CAP guidelines that support European farmers.
