On World Children’s Day, the Prevention Center ‘Schedia’ and the ‘Ark of the World’ held an event in Konitsa focused on children’s rights as defined by the International Convention on the Rights of the Child. Dr. Ilektri Koutsoukou discussed lesser-known rights, emphasizing decision-making participation and empowerment practices. Social workers from ‘Ark of the World’ highlighted the importance of rights like medical care and privacy while Professor Vasilis Koutras stressed the need for positive reinforcement to support children’s self-esteem.
