The residents’ association of Koulbaras and Kioski in Mytilene is organizing a two-day event on November 23-24 to commemorate the Asia Minor Catastrophe. On the first day, author Vlasis Agtzidis will present his book discussing the Lausanne and Sevres treaties. The second day features a revival of the ‘refugee saint’ festival at St. George’s Church, honoring the memory and sacrifices of refugees from the 1922 catastrophe.
