Evo Morales Claims Judicial Persecution Amid Arrest Warrant in Bolivia

Former Bolivian President Evo Morales, who held office from 2006 to 2019, has claimed he is a victim of a judicial war waged by current President Luis Arce’s government. This comes after an arrest warrant was issued against him for alleged human trafficking involving a minor, with whom he has a daughter. Morales, who has not surrendered to authorities, argues that the government is attempting to annihilate him politically and physically, as tensions rise ahead of the 2025 presidential elections.
