Duncan Bartlett, a former BBC journalist, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for multiple child sexual abuse offences, including paying for live streams of child exploitation. The Metropolitan Police discovered nearly 6,000 indecent images on his electronic devices. Arrested in September 2021, Bartlett had worked at the BBC for 14 years before transitioning to a research role at SOAS university without disclosing his criminal activities.
