The Municipality of Kalamata and the K.E. Faris’ Visual Arts Sector have opened a public exhibition featuring significant works from Evangelos Averoff’s collection. Titled ‘Works from the Valuable Collection of Metsovo at the Kalamata Dance House: A Concise Panorama of Modern Greek Art,’ the exhibit showcases 45 representative pieces from notable artists ranging from the mid-19th century to the early 21st century. The exhibition runs until November 10, 2024, attracting hundreds of art enthusiasts eager to explore the richness of Greek painting.
