Exploring the Thriving Aviation Club of Thessaloniki
The Thessaloniki Aeroclub, founded in 1930, now boasts over 250 active members and a fleet of five CESSNA airplanes. It organizes and participates in various local, national, and international competitions under the auspices of the Hellenic Aeronautical Federation. The club also provides training seminars and educational flights for its members, highlighting the passion for aviation in the region. Notable members include Konstantinos Georgiadis, the club’s president, and pilot Stefanos Batzidis, who shares the thrill of flying with the community.
