A devastating explosion at an explosives plant in Balikesir, northwest Turkey, has resulted in the deaths of 12 individuals and left three others injured. The incident occurred at 8:25 AM local time, causing significant damage and the collapse of a section of the building. Local governor Ismail Ustaoglu reported the casualties and stated that an investigation by prosecutors is underway. Eyewitness footage revealed debris scattered in the vicinity of the plant.
