Explosion in Corinthia Senior Center Causes Injuries but No Fatalities
A small gas explosion occurred at a senior citizens’ center in Vrachati, Corinthia, during a meeting of the Union of Volunteers. The blast damaged windows and caused extensive damage to the main area. Fortunately, no one was in the kitchen at the time of the explosion, though two women sustained minor injuries and were treated at a hospital. Witnesses described the explosion as comparable to a small grenade. Restoration efforts are currently underway.
