Explosion in Cuban Weapons Storage Leaves Thirteen Missing

Thirteen members of Cuba’s Revolutionary Armed Forces are missing following an explosion at a munitions storage facility in the eastern part of the country. The incident occurred in Melones, leading to the evacuation of over 1,200 residents. The blast, which involved old ammunition, resulted in nine soldiers, two non-commissioned officers, and two officers being declared missing. The cause is yet to be confirmed, though local media suggest a possible fire may have triggered the explosion.
