Extension of Digital Registration Deadline for Chania, Rethymno, and Northern Heraklion
The digital platform for property registration in Chania, Rethymno, and Northern Heraklion will remain open until January 31, 2025, allowing new submissions and completions of previously submitted forms. As of December 20, submission rates are 60% for Chania, 58% for Rethymno, and 41% for Northern Heraklion. The latter reports the lowest participation in Greece, prompting a reassessment of property rights in the region. Citizens initiating their submissions digitally can still complete them in person if necessary.
