Authorities have extended the deadline for insurance payments for farmers in Ancient Olympia affected by the 2021 wildfires. The decision, prompted by discussions between Deputy Minister of Civil Protection Andreas Nikolaakopoulos and other officials, provides relief until March 31. Emphasis is placed on finding solutions for farmers who missed insurance coverage during the disaster and ensuring comprehensive compensation for all impacted, including new and non-professional farmers who were excluded from previous aid.
