An 89-year-old driver tragically lost his life in a car accident in Almyros. The incident occurred on the Thessaloniki-Athens national highway when the driver failed to follow signage in a construction zone. The driver was trapped in the wreckage, and firefighters were called to the scene to recover his body. Despite their efforts, he was confirmed dead upon recovery.
