Fatal Car Accident in Co Meath Claims Life of Elderly Man
A man in his 60s has died after being struck by a car in Flowerhill, Navan, Co Meath late last night. The incident occurred around 10.40 pm, and the victim’s body has been taken to Our Lady’s Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The driver, also in his 60s, was unharmed. The area is currently closed for investigation, with local diversions in place. This incident marks the sixth road fatality in Ireland this week, including four pedestrian deaths.
