A serious car accident occurred today at 16:00 on the 5th kilometer of the Preveza – Igoumenitsa National Road, resulting in the death of a 73-year-old driver. The collision involved a vehicle driven by the elderly man and another vehicle driven by a 22-year-old. Emergency services arrived promptly to rescue the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, while the younger driver sustained injuries. Investigations into the cause of the accident are underway by the Preveza Traffic Department.
