Sara suffered extensive abuse over two years, with evidence suggesting she was hooded, burned, and beaten. Her death occurred on August 8, 2022, after which the couple fled to Pakistan with Sara’s siblings. In a shocking turn, Sharif confessed to killing her in a police call. Sentencing is scheduled for next week.
