Festive Swimmers Take the Plunge in North Sea During Boxing Day Dips
Hundreds of swimmers embraced the cold North Sea waters in traditional Boxing Day dips, showcasing their festive spirit with jumpers and hats. Events like the North Norfolk Beach Runners’ Dip and the Aldeburgh Boxing Day Swim attracted participants to raise money for charities, including the RNLI and Make A Wish foundation. Organiser Paul Rosher described the atmosphere as joyful, highlighting the community’s enthusiasm despite the chilly conditions.
