Feyenoord Supporters Sentenced for Assaulting Referee During Tournament
Two Feyenoord supporters have received 150 hours of community service for assaulting a referee during a supporters’ tournament in June at De Kuip. The incident involved violent behavior during a match where a young referee issued a red card. Court images showed Toon K. kicking the referee and Damian K. pushing him while on the ground. Both supporters failed to attend the court hearing, with claims of illness and mental distress. They are also required to pay €575 in damages to the victim, who continues to experience anxiety due to the assault.
