This initiative, aimed at individuals with low chances of asylum, has led to disbursements exceeding 8.2 million euros for various exit-related expenses. Despite the high volume of applications causing delays, the program is considered more cost-effective than deportations, according to proponents, including AfD lawmaker Leif-Erik Holm.
