A fire broke out in a two-story residence in the center of Kalamata, Greece, early this afternoon. The blaze started in the kitchen and quickly filled the house with smoke, though fortunately, the residents were not in danger. Thanks to the prompt response of the Kalamata Fire Service, the fire was contained before it could spread further, although it caused significant property damage.
