Fire Erupts in Rethymno, Greece, Sparking Emergency Response
A fire broke out late Tuesday in a private lot filled with debris in Rethymno, Greece, sending thick smoke into the air and alarming residents who immediately alerted the Fire Department. Despite swift action by firefighters, who employed earth-moving equipment to contain the flames, the fire continues to burn internally. Currently, six fire vehicles and a team of 20 personnel, along with a hiking unit, are on-site to manage the situation and conduct water drops.
