Flight Crash in South Korea: Investigations Underway
A Boeing 737-800 operated by Jeju Air crashed upon landing in Muan, South Korea, killing nearly all of the 181 people on board. Investigations are focusing on why the aircraft landed without its landing gear deployed, potentially due to a bird strike. Early reports indicate that two crew members survived. This incident marks the deadliest airline disaster globally in six years and the first with fatalities for Jeju Air, which has been in operation since 2005.
