Former Blokker Employees Seek New Opportunities After Bankruptcy
A significant number of former Blokker employees have not applied for unemployment benefits following the company’s bankruptcy, with only 240 of the 3,500 workers filing claims. The UWV reports that most have found new employment, and there are ample job opportunities available in and outside the retail sector. Additionally, Roland Palmer from the Blokker family is seeking to revive the brand, collaborating with franchise owners and taking over online operations, although the future opening of closed stores remains uncertain.
