Former British Soldier Pleads Not Guilty to Murders from Bloody Sunday

A former British soldier, referred to as Soldier F, has pleaded not guilty to two murders and five attempted murders related to the Bloody Sunday incident in Derry, 1972, where 13 civil rights protesters were shot. The soldier’s identity remains protected by a court order due to concerns over his safety, as he could be targeted by dissident republicans. The arraignment took place at Belfast Crown Court after a motion to dismiss the case was denied.
