Neil Molloy, the former host of Galway Bay FM’s breakfast show, has lost his unfair dismissal claim against the station at the Workplace Relations Commission. Molloy was dismissed after being accused of verbal misconduct towards the CEO, Cormac O’Halloran. Although his representatives argued it was a ‘witch hunt,’ the tribunal upheld the radio station’s decision based on the evidence presented. Molloy, who worked at the station for over 30 years, is appealing the ruling to the Labour Court.
