Former Irish Rugby Player Denis Coulson Sentenced for Rape in France
Denis Coulson, a former Ireland U20 rugby player, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for the rape of a woman in Bordeaux in 2017. Another player, Chris Farrell, received a four-year sentence with two years suspended for failing to prevent the crime, requiring him to wear an electronic tag while remaining in France. Both sentences were handed down at Bordeaux’s Cour d’Assises.
