Giovanni Toti, the former governor of Liguria, has been sentenced to two years and three months in a plea agreement, which will involve 1,620 hours of community service. The sentence was confirmed by Judge Matteo Buffoni, with Toti assigned to work with the Italian League Against Cancer in Genoa, handling communication and patient bookings. Toti’s case follows similar rulings for other officials involved in corruption charges, including Paolo Emilio Signorini and Aldo Spinelli.
