Former Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras stated that his expulsion from the New Democracy (ND) party was premeditated. In an interview, he emphasized that this decision was not unexpected, responding to questions during an event at Columbia University. The ND’s Ethics Committee voted unanimously to remove him from the parliamentary group, a decision presided over by Yiannis Tragakis and included members such as Stavros Kalafatis and Kostas Tsiaras.
