Moscow condemned this decision, asserting that it undermines support for Ukraine. In parallel, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes Russia is trying to regain control over occupied territories, especially in the Kursk region, by January 20, coinciding with the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump.
